There are WAY too many scams on the internet. This has to be one of the most convincing ones yet. I won’t even show you what it looks like because it could seriously harm your computer or phone/mobile device. I was going to do a post on how to fake a screenshot of a fake virus – but I decided – why bother – it’s only going to be used for fraud anyway. But, I will show you how to check for Windows Updates. The first thing that mystified me about this scam was the fact that I always have Windows updates set on ‘automatically download and install’ because, if you don’t, your computer can become seriously vulnerable to hackers and viruses. So.. How do you check to see if you’re infected?
