There are WAY too many scams on the internet. This has to be one of the most convincing ones yet. I won’t even show you what it looks like because it could seriously harm your computer or phone/mobile device. I was going to do a post on how to fake a screenshot of a fake virus – but I decided – why bother – it’s only going to be used for fraud anyway. But, I will show you how to check for Windows Updates. The first thing that mystified me about this scam was the fact that I always have Windows updates set on ‘automatically download and install’ because, if you don’t, your computer can become seriously vulnerable to hackers and viruses.
